Roxy has a fascinating PhD project she is working on. She is using sounds to attract lionfish but its not what you think. Initially you would think that using lionfish sounds to attract them is her direction but in fact it’s using the sounds of healthy reefs. Roxy discesses all the phases of her project at the Carmabi facility in Curacao. Her discussion gives great insight of how lionfish might be choosing the reefs they go to establish their hunting and breeding grounds.
